I typically don't leave reviews but, my experience with Cornea and Cataract consultants of Nashville was unexceptable. Let me plead my case... I was led here by my Optometrist due to severe RK, damage to the right eye, when I was 19 years old now facing cataracts at 53 years old. The appointment was made a month in advance, spoke to four differant nurses and administrators regarding appointment prior to my 7am arrival time . NOT ONE nurse or administrator shared with me that i need NOT to wear my scalera contact lenses for TWO WEEKS prior to the appointment. This was shared with me after i was standing in the exam room ( where the surgens nurse informed me they could not do the exam, due to the fact I had been in my contacts. Then the nurse proceeds to be presistant " there is NO WAY you have cataracts at 53" then I explained to her I had two differant doctors prior to this appointment confirm that i did. SHE then proceeds to tell me, you can only have cateract at your age if you have been punched in the face, hit by a bat or an airbag.) The "exam" was $400 (self pay) and basically over at this point. I've made several attempts to call the administration for a refund of my $400. THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY CALL. I felt this was a compete waste of time, the poor comunication prior to me driving an hour to this appointment after speaking to several nurses setting up this appointment NOT one of them told me NOT to wear my lenses two weeks prior to this appointment.. WHY would i trust these people with my vision!

Excellent service by all involved. Has been for years, now. Dr. Groos is an excellent doctor.

The staff is great and very friendly. We see Dr. Chang and he is great.

Dr. Shivitz and his staff are exceptional. I always appreciate the care I receive. My problem is the waiting. I arrived well before my 9:40 appointment, but didn't get in to see the doctor until 10:50. That's not good.
